214 Alpha designs technology for communities that cannot afford to fail. Security is not an add-on; it is the foundation.
Our team has protected sensitive communications, defended global networks, and built trust systems used by billions. We bring that experience to every deployment.

Our founder, Kent Dahlgren, began his career as a Combat Communications Operator in the U.S. Air Force, managing top-secret material, supervising tactical and fixed-base communications, and deploying early Internet-era secure networks long before the public had access to them.
With over 12 years in that role, he learned to build systems that must work under pressure, without excuses, and frequently without support support.
Across senior roles at Tripwire, Tenable, iovation, and Xerox, Kent managed:
multi-factor authentication and anti-fraud at global scale
real-time device fingerprinting and fraud detection across hundreds of billions of transactions
SIEM, vulnerability management, and attack-surface visualization systems
Distributed software agents and predictive analytics
These systems protected companies like Amazon, Chase, and Match.com, and the software he helped lead at Bitnation earned the UNESCO NetExplo Grand Prix for supporting Syrian refugees under crisis conditions.
214 Alpha’s security services are strengthened by deep OSINT (open source intelligence) capabilities, enabling organizations to identify adversaries, assess misinformation, and detect hostile behavior before it becomes a threat.
Our team has conducted large-scale digital investigations, mapped threat networks, and advised both public and private organizations dealing with online risk.
We build encrypted communication platforms, trust engines, and verification tools that eliminate impersonation, reduce fraud, and give communities a safe digital backbone.
Whether you’re a nonprofit, a small town, a cooperative, or a mission-driven organization, our goal is simple:
Give you the tools to operate securely, privately, and independently; without needing to trust big platforms, "the cloud" (someone else's computer) or opaque systems.
